PiP not using overlays, it's top level window without decorations. What's mean 'independent window' ? If you really want fully independent window - start four (or how much do you need) copy of tv.exe with -nooneinstance option from different folders. If you simple want change size/positions PiP windows - goto Preferernces - > OSD -> MultiPiP, choose in 'Window layout type' - manualy and change 'List of laylouts' how you want. Many thanx will give it a try. I understand the option for using nooneinstance but thats not what I had in mind-- my remote using eventghost will work on all windows at same time as per my understanding. Being able to change the pip windows size with no overlays is what I wanted I will see if it meets my requirements. Many thanx |

@SergeyV On second thoughts ononeinstance switch might be exactly what I require provided my remote using eventghost is able to distinguish between different windows. Maybe the listener port number can be different for each window and by pressing a button on my remote a script would activate a port number in a rotating sequence. Just an idea--is it possible to control the listener port or the active window as I need to differentiate between windows for eventghost to control one specific window at a time? Again my thanx |

@SergeyV Slowly getting there however ---using layouts how do I disable the main screen below the pip layouts from displaying a stream? I just want the background main screen to be blank--- at the moment I just used a radio station which has no display only audio. I also would like an additional action which swaps sound to each open window (enumerates thru open windows) in addition to swap sound between main window and pip. The existing "control shift p" action swaps sound provided I move the mouse over the required pip window. I would prefer enumeration over open pip windows without having to use the mouse. Could you add an option to choose which layout to display if I have multiple layouts ---maybe by means of a pop up window or something similar? At the moment it works fine but needs a few improvement as requested above Many thanx I really appreciate your hard work! |
